At the age of ten, I found my camera-shy self falling in love with being behind the lens after borrowing my parents’ retired "110" pocket camera for a camping trip. During my teens, I leapt at the chance to take a new photography course at my local high school. A diploma from the two-year photography course at Algonquin College soon followed.
Immediately after graduation, I got involved in the sign industry — first as an employee at a local company, and then as part-owner of an Ottawa business. During my 14 years of sign-making, I designed logos, business cards, a-frames, car graphics, and much more.
In 2008, I left the family business to start a family of my own. And now, two rambunctious little boys later, I'm building a career on my two passions: photography and design!
